I am including the comments at the bottom of this post. If these allegations are proven to be untrue, I'll
remove this post. But until then, this and TD Jakes own words are two witnesses. First are the words of one of Jakes' alleged victims, and after the
comments is an article where Jakes alludes to a lesbian relationship between Ruth and Naomi, and a homosexual relationship between King David and Jonathon.
Something very wrong in that, and it speaks to who Jakes is and what he has been involved in:

Is Bishop Jakes still�GAY?
Bishop Jakes has done a wonderful job flying under the radar of concerning what he really represents but the time has come for the HYPE to be exposed and the truth to be told. There are many people who know the truth concerning this man and his ministry but are to afraid to speak because there is an automatic assumption that because something is popular, God is in it. Let me be very clear…Bishop Jakes is not who many believe him to be. All of the mighty speeches and mesmerizing phrases are not what they appear to be. Bishop Jakes and his kind are spoken of in The Word of God. Jude vs. 4 talks about men who crept in. The word crept is the past tense of the word "creep." In other words, Bishop Jakes is a creep! I don't mean it to be funny nor is it intended to be offensive but it is true! Let me explain……
I have known Bishop Jakes for quite some time. I met him before the world embraced him as the next Billy Graham or before he had made his many millions of dollars. I met him when he was Elder Thomas Jakes. At first, I was equally mesmerized by his ability to preach revelatory word that seems easy for him but difficult for others to see in the Word of God. He shared with me how he was an avid bible reader and told me the way he read was the reason he could see what others did not. He would share many things with me that seemed to be a help to my ministry. Eventually I became his Armour bearer. This allowed me to see ministry from a completely different angle. I saw back room deals that I never knew happened as well as back door deals that were a total shock. More on that later.
Bishop Jakes had started climbing the ladder in preaching circles around the tri-state area and seemed to just have doors open before him without much effort. He would tell me of stories of other preachers and their involvement in scandal after scandal always remarking that it was shameful and that he was supportive of the leaders who were under demonic attack. I would later find out that he was supportive because he was exactly what they were….HOMOSEXUAL!
I have had an amazing level of warfare because of the knowledge that I have concerning Bishop Jakes! I have sought Godly counsel from men whom I respect to only be told that it was my responsibility to cover him. I bought into it and did what I thought was right until month after month passed and then year after year and I would hear of young men that he was introducing to an Unholy lifestyle. I could only ask God to help me with what I should do about what I knew. After much travail in prayer and also after enduring an amazing onslaught from people who use to be my friends, I have come to one conclusion. First, I have asked God to forgive me for my silence. While Bishop Jakes was not successful in his attempt to have sex with me, he did everything he could to try to convince me. After seeing that I would not fall for his tactic, he said something to me that to this day still reverberates in my ear…"sometimes to much light hurts the eyes." At first I had no idea what he meant. Then later understood that he was saying to me that he had revealed too much of himself to me. DUH!!! What an understatement from such an articulate man. This is where my personal warfare began. Questions began to surface in my head like…"what kind of sign was I giving off that made him think he could approach me?" Then the warfare took on a feeling that I felt a need to prove my manhood. I began to have sex with as many women as would allow me to satisfy my lust to prove my manhood. All the while protecting his"too much light." The saddest part to this warfare is that because of the information that I had, Bishop was afraid that I would use it against him so he began to forecast me as a trouble maker and a liar. All of the mutual friend that we had received phone calls and were told not to invite me to speak at their events. Obviously because of his reputation, he was believed and I was not. He even sowed seed in my home between my wife and I by telling her that I was no longer welcomed to the church but that she could continue coming. That marriage eventually ended in divorce. It took me awhile to stop having dreams of going to his church and testifying! (smile) Give honor to God…..then nail him. I did not because even under that pressure, I feared God and didn't want to hurt His People. I sought counsel and found that I was in a cesspool of homosexuality but all on the downlow. They were all married and appeared happy. Once I found out how bad the homosexuality was, I turned in my license and stop going to church. I cried out to God for help! I can feel the anointing right now!!!!!! One thing that I thank God for is that even when you are nobody to everybody, you are somebody to HIM! I thank God that not only did He hear my cry but sent deliverance to me. He healed me from bitterness. I had been contacted by many people who had questions about Bishop and I would not expose him to them because I didn't want to hurt the church. I have been offered BET programming from other Pastors who wanted me to out him but I chose not to. Today, I feel Gods unction as I type because it is now time to expose what many have been following in error but more importantly, Bishop Jakes has become extremely bold with his lifestyle statements and it concerns me that many will blindly follow. I saw the photographs of His daughters wedding and saw him wearing an ear ring in his ear. Bishop knows the history of the ear ring as well as anyone. He has preached against it before. He knows its wrong. It is apparent that he did because the photos with the ear ring in are disappearing and photos that have been altered to remove the ear ring are now surfacing.
Bishop Jakes is not what many think him to be! None of his children, neither natural, spiritual or adopted have lives without extreme warfare. While I know we are not fighting against flesh and blood we are however fighting principalities. Ruling spirits that have power on earth. Bishop Jakes is a definite representation of a principality. The most unfortunate part to the story is that many know but won't do anything about it. There are a growing group of men who will no longer be quiet about what the current religious leaders are allowing to creep into our ranks!

TD Jakes becomes a conduit for false homosexual�theology
Its a sad and tragic thing that someone who has been proclaimed by the liberal media as the next Billy Graham is actually a false prophet with homosexual issues. The sad part is that deliverance is available to anyone who wants it. The tragic part is the hoax being perpetrated on millions of people in the church by Bishop TD Jakes.New information alleges that Jakes is not just a false prophet who is repositioning himself as a defender of gay christian theology, but one who has attempted to draw other men into homosexual conduct with him.
In this audio (courtesy of�Faith and Reason), Jakes can be heard�giving credibility to�the astonishing fallacy that Ruth and Naomi had a�lesbian relationship.� Why is TD Jakes�advocating�two of the favorite lies of the gay christian movement?
"Ruth turns to Naomi�and says "I shall not leave thee." She makes her statement to this woman…that sounds somewhat, somewhere in between poetry, intimacy, and borders on lesbianism. People don't even know how to explain what Ruth said to Naomi. It makes them uncomfortable. They're afraid to talk about it. They don't want to teach on it. Same thing with David�and Jonathan…where there were same-sex relationships getting too close, people don't even know what to say." (our italics)
Bishop Jakes may be unaware and his church may be ignorant of the matter, but we have talked about it and we are not afraid. But talking about what Ruth said to Naomi is one thing. Suggesting what�Ruth said "borders on lesbianism" reveals the darkness in his own heart.� This doesn't border on lesbiansm, it borders on heresy! But if you think that Bishop Jakes is just engaging our minds in the usual "deep" way�he's known for, think again. His own personal issues with homosexuality�color his theology. And its not good.
Perhaps that's "too much light" coming from Bishop Jakes. That's what one man says Jakes told him after he rejected Jakes' numerous�sexual propositions. Eventually, Richard Youngblood became the subject of a vendetta orchestrated by TD Jakes�causing him to lose his marriage and family.
Youngblood, who�knew and worked with Bishop Jakes since he first came into Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies (HGAAA), recently wrote that Jakes is the type of man characterized in�Jude 4�as one who�"crept into the church unawares". Youngblood's story of Jakes' sexual pursuit of him is nothing less than stunning.

There will be those, who will without the slightest hesitation, defend�the men they have made idols. We have much evidence of that right here on this site.
A threat?
When we first exposed the connection between Bishops Jakes and Taylor, we were sent a letter (see above) claiming claiming the post was "libelous and grossly inaccurate". Sources later told GCM Watch Taylor was thrown under the bus by Watkins and Jakes in order to cover their own involvement. Bishop Andrew Merritt left the organization after he became aware that HGAAA leadership was complicit and condoning of�homosexual activity.
In an age where the church languishes under a laodicean spirit, nothing is offensive to God. All are to be celebrated and tolerated because, they say, God is all about love. But beware false prophets who pervert the word of the Lord for their own gain. Johnathan Edwards preached in 1741 that when God rises up, no man can prevent him from exacting judgment upon those who do wickedness.
There is no want of power in God to cast wicked men into hell at any moment. Men's hands cannot be strong when God rises up. The strongest have no power to resist him, nor can any deliver out of his hands.-He is not only able to cast wicked men into hell, but he can most easily do it. Sometimes an earthly prince meets with a great deal of difficulty to subdue a rebel, who has found means to fortify himself, and has made himself strong by the numbers of his followers. But it is not so with God. There is no fortress that is any defence from the power of God. Though hand join in hand, and vast multitudes of God's enemies combine and associate themselves, they are easily broken in pieces. They are as great heaps of light chaff before the whirlwind; or large quantities of dry stubble before devouring flames. We find it easy to tread on and crush a worm that we see crawling on the earth; so it is easy for us to cut or singe a slender thread that any thing hangs by: thus easy is it for God, when he pleases, to cast his enemies down to hell. What are we, that we should think to stand before him, at whose rebuke the earth trembles, and before whom the rocks are thrown down."
We would do well to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God now before he has to break in peices the brazen pride of the church. Even now, in what seems to be the apex of his power and influence, TD Jakes should repent and be converted lest the Lord come and remove his candlestick. Those who have followed this man, should repent and ask God to give them a clean heart and a right spirit. Pastors who are in "covenant" with this man should repent and�remove themselves from this unholy relationship built on the lust for prestige, money and influence*. And if you are currently in a sexual relationship with any bishop, pastor, gospel artist or church leader repent and remove yourself from it�before God opens the door of discipline on you.
* According to the PHIPA fellowship disclaimer,�even though you apply and�become part of the PHIPA, TD Jakes does not endorse you or even encourage attendance at your church. Neither are you legally affiliated with TD Jakes or any of his subsidary ministries.� But in order to be a member of the PHIPA, you must send in MONTHLY "tithes and offerings". In plain language, you�are simply a $$ sign to TD Jakes. Although he offers you vague, religious sounding platitudes look at the stark�specificities of what he requires you to do for him.�That's his definition of "covenant".
The season of God's wrath is upon us because of our willful disobedience and gross immorality. There will be no judgment you say?� Examples in the Old Testament portray a sharp rise in widespread sexual sin and idolatry before a harsh and swift judgment from God.
- Genesis 19 - God destroys Sodom and the cities of the plains for its wickedness namely unrepentant pride in its sexual sins and human injustices.
- Numbers 25 - God send a plague of deadly sexual disease among Isreal after the men of Isreal give themselves over to sexual pleasure with Moabite women. The plague destroys 24,000 men and would have killed many more were it not for the zealous action of Phineas.
- Judges 19,20 - After homosexuals in the tribe of Benjamin commit�rape and murder,�then reject the other 11 tribes' appeal to repent, civil war erupts plunging Isreal into�a bloodbath. Only 1000 of the 25,000 men in Benjamin are left alive. This, the writer of Judges somberly observes, is because "every man did what was right in his own eyes".
- 1 Kings 14, 24, 15:12 - Jeroboam, known as one of Isreal;s most wicked kings set in motion events that led to the destruction of the Northern Kingdom. A benchmark of his reign was the tolerance of idolatry and homosexuality.
Lest we dismiss such things as OT law, the Apostle Paul wrote��"Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved.��Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, "THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO PLAY."��Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day.��Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents.�Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer.�Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come"�(1�Cor 10:6-11).��Change will not come by physically killing other people, only by repentance and submission to the will of God.
TD Jakes is not alone in leading people astray. There are�religious pied pipers�you revere and blindly follow, while rejecting�the true knowledge of God. Sadly, if you do not repent and turn away, you will be destroyed because you reject that which can save you.

Addendum, Sept 1, 2008: Some people have questioned the context and time�of the comments given by TD Jakes�cited above.�Independent Conservative located the text on the Potter's�House website�which says it is�an excerpt from a sermon entitled "Nothing Just Happens". According to the�site, the�message was preached at�a 2001 Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference.
Cryptic or prophetic?
If the website is correct, it adds an even more egregious dimension to Bishop Jakes' remarks. To wit: this type or errant ideology should have been challenged seven years ago. But in the glaze of popularity people were willing to overlook it as "deep" when it was in all actuality a false seed�sown into the minds of vunerable women.
The sermon seems to focus on Jakes' idea that nothing is by chance. That God indeed orchestrates the events of our lives and is in complete control. Given that this particular part of the message went virtually unnoticed for seven years, we are willing to agree that the message is prophetic in that God brought it to the forefront according to His divine plan.
There in no context�nor remote possiblity that the two women had any type of lesbian relationship or� simular feelings for one another. The text�does not
suggest it nor imply it.�Bishop Jakes created that supposition out of thin air.�It was an outrage then and it is a fresh outrage now. Perhaps if Bishop Jakes
had been publicly challegened on this type of thinking who knows whether he would have aired numerous other false or questionable teachings about
homosexuality.

I am so sorry you have gone through all you have because of TD Jake's ministry…..there will be more warfare to come….just expect that, because you ARE getting the word out….but….our Lord will calm you, just Him immediately, don't suffer through, ASK RIGHT AWAY. This sort of demonic activity SHOULD BE told, there are many people "following blindly" to the evil spirit(s) that lead this man (and MANY others like him), you MUST warn them….it all has to be done in love, but you are so afraid of hurting the people, you are hurting them by not getting them away from this wolf in sheep's clothing.
The ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD, your Lord, is with you every step of the way…it appears to me He's giving you different methods in order to expose this darkness.

I am a sincere seeker of truth and am not quick to get on board with a "negative report" about such a great influencer of the church world today. Scripture tells us not to receive an accusation against an elder except that there are at least two witnesses. I don't believe this is the proper way to address this matter. The Body of Christ has suffered greatly from the blows of fallen ministers. God loves us all - you should reveal who you are and what process you have followed before resorting to this method. If what you are stating can be substantiated fine and well but lets try to preserve as much of the dignity that belongs to the men and women of God who are faithfully doing the work of God.

My comment is different from the rest. And I am not concerned about any comments back at me. But, my Friend and Brother, Pastor, Apostle (noticed I capitalized all of those), I am sorry for what you went through. And I pray a complete healing in your life from this matter. But at some point will there ever be forgiveness? Ham exposed Noah's nakedness and his offspring (Canaan) was cursed. Of course we know about the woman "caught in the act of adultery", so they say. Then there was our friend on his way to the promised land and decided to marry an Ethiopian, or someone translated a worldly woman. You see what happen to Miriam. Jesus, in the Lord's Prayer said forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespassed against us. So, if we don't forgive, how can we expect God to forgive us at our moment of repentance. Back in the late '80s we saw this happen when one televangelist put another on front-street for something that happen years before it came to light. Wasn't long after when he fell into a similar calamity. I am not here to judge anyone (judge not lest ye be judge). But I am here to forgive and love. And you don't know how extreme things have been where I had to forgive. But after I made the choice to forgive as painful as it was, years later I feel much better. Besides, I know too many who have died (a natural death), have health problems, etc., from unforgiveness. You may never hear from me again on this matter, but please look again… Praying genuinely can do more than putting stuff out in the press. The only ones I can see blessed behind this action are the ungodly because they are looking for something to "chew on". And to the ungodly, all of us could be put into the same category. Question? Man of God, at one point do we as "CHRISTIANS" expose each other to the world, so that they become our judge. We all know that there is only one judge and that's God. I think when we start trying to take God's job into our own hands because this ordeal has gone on for months, years, etc… and it seems God hasn't done us justly, or moved fast enough then we help, what are we saying to God? I am not personally a "TD Jakes" fan, but I do believe if we all had to have someone search our closets one day, then we would never be able to expose another. I pray that before the blog was written that you truly heard from the Lord, and this is what he told you to do, otherwise maybe some of us should go back and search the scriptures. As far as it bringing you deliverance, I pray it has, because knowing this bit of ungodly information does nothing for my salvation. If it by chance is true, then I say, WOE TO THE PASTORS", that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Jeremiah 23:1 (THANK GOD FOR TRUTH). GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.

I'm neither doubting nor confirming your statements. While I have often thought Jakes to have a propensity for homosexuality, I figured, like us all, we are forgiven, but that he's turned from that lifestyle and mode of living. Now, if he's still persuing such activity, then he needs to repent and sit down. EVERYONE IS DESERVING OF RESTORATION. I haven't always walked perfectly b4 the Lord myself and thank God for grace and mercy. But if he's starting to add doubt to the clear teaching of the Word and live on the DL, then that needs to be brought to light!
This is gonna be hard for many to receive, so I hope you are prepared.

You are in error. The apostle Paul taught in 1 Corinthians chapter 5 that we have got to judge sin within the church. God judges the world outside of the church, but we must judge the sin within our midst:
1CORINTHIANS 5
1 It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father's wife.
2 And you have become arrogant, and have not mourned instead, in order that the one who had done this deed might be removed from your midst.
3 For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present.
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

After reading this brother's comments, I have no doubt that he is telling the truth! I have ALWAYS believed Jakes to be Gay! I know for certain that he is addicted to Pornography as evidenced of his watching many X-rated movies in Waco, Texas a few years back when he was in town to conduct a City-Wide Crusade.
When he checked out of the hotel, the bill was unusually high…that is until it was revealed that he had purchased many x-rated movies even while he was "conducting a Revival", when in reality he was the one who needed the Revival! Black people can be so blind (Purposely so) and ignorant of the truth..even when it is right in front of us!

So, it sounds to me as if some of u believe that he should sweep it under the carpet and never tell. Even Judas was outed by Jesus at the last supper, or did some of u forget that. He told that one would betray him and told him in front of everyone to go do what he had to do. You mean to tell me that evil and wickedness is not to be exposed in the church to other Christians. It is supposed to be exposed if it is true and brother tell us who you are. If u are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, then go ahead and tell who u are, stand up for truth and tell it like Esther went and told the King of his servants evil intentions.

People please be prayerful in considering this. I have heard this from another Bishop that used to work with Bishop Jakes. All because someone is popular and powerful, does not mean that they are right (perfect, or for that matter, even of God). The word says many will cry "Jesus, and He will say depart from me, I know you not." I am not judging Bishop T. Dexter, for we all have fallen short of The Glory of God. I just don't want everyone to think that Pastor Richard is automatically dishonest, because he speaks about someone that so many BLINDLY follow. Many people would rather call a man attempting to come out and tell the truth a liar, in an attempt to justify what they believe/do, or justify where they attend for church/their pastor. Please don't quote, "Touch not God's annointed," for Richard Youngblood was/is a pastor as well! The Word says that pastors are held to a higher standard …"to whom much is given, much is required!" If anything is done in opposition to the Word of God, then that person is not a TRUE Prophet of God. It is when we put all of our faith in man, that we SHOULD soon realize, that all faith should only be placed in God. The Word clearly states that in the end times, that there will be many false prophets, and workers of iniquity (no I am not calling Bishop Jakes a false prophet!!) People please read the Word of God for yourselves, after praying for truth and understanding. For this is the only way we will be sustained. Not by some Bishop's "banging" sermon, or "getting happy feet" at church every now and then. Only by His Grace, Mercy, His Blood, and His Word!!!!
God Bless you Bishop Youngblood. I pray your strength, safety and peace, in the name of Jesus; as you tell the truth and shame the devil. Remember, back in the day when our Lord and Saviour walked the face of this Earth, He spoke against the MASSES, and many did not accept Him/His Words, for they were not popular and against what many believed and were doing. Take this thought with you, and 1 Peter 4:12, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy."

It is evident to me through your blogs Apostle Youngblood, that the people who are in the household of faith are between two opinions. This reminds me of a time in the days of Elijah when he asked the people, how long will you be halt between two opinions? To me, it is obvious that there is a split in the church. As a result, there is coming a showdown and God will answer by Fire! So, my question I will like to present to the household of faith, whom will you serve? In closing, I would like to say this…Many people who are responding to this blog will reveal two types of people. 1. Those who know the Letter of Law of the Word. 2. And Those who know the Letter and the Spirit of God's word! Therefore, we will know in timetable of Gods plan who is of God and who is not of him. For the word of God does declare,'" in the last days there will be a great falling away! However, also the word does declare," that the foundation of the Lord is sure and he know all who are his! I thank God for his word because the word of God lets me know heaven and earth will pass away BUT HIS WORD WILL STAND!
